Swift M18 series biological lab microscopes are ideal for college-level laboratories and veterinary clinics. The microscope has infinity corrected optics and Koehler illumination, which provide clear, crisp images. The M18 is available with a binocular head or a trinocular head; please select when ordering.
- Head: Binocular or trinocular viewing head is inclined 30 degrees. Head has diopter and interpupillary adjustment between 54mm to 76mm.
- Objective Lenses: DIN standard Infinity Corrected objective lenses are parfocaled and parcentered. Objectives are secured in a rotatable, inward-facing, and reversed four-position nosepiece for easy magnification change. The following objectives are included:
Infinity Corrected Plan Achromat Objectives with 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x (oil) magnification.
- Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepiece with an 20mm field of view. Eyepiece accepts a 21mm diameter reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Includes built-in mechanical stage measuring 5.75" x 5.5" (142mm x 140mm) with low-profile ball-bearing mounted mechanical specimen holder with coaxial controls.
- Condenser: Abbe NA 1.25 condenser has rack and pinion focusing, with iris diaphragm to increase contrast.
- Focusing: Has coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls allow for fine-tuned focusing. Coarse focusing has tension adjustment, and the fine-focus knob is graduated.
- Illumination: Corded microscope. Has 3W LED Koehler illumination.
