The HDCAM7 is a 4K HD 2160p scientific grade camera that has all in one camera HDMI + USB3 + SD Card / USB Flash Drive.

High Definition 4K Camera Specifications:

  • Direct output: To HDMI Screen for viewing live images with image capture to SD Card or USB Flash Drive. Output to PC or laptop with included software via USB3 cable.
  • Sensor: 1/1.8" (7.68 x4.32mm) 4K Sony Exmor/STARIVS IMX678(C).

Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. There are two stage micrometers recommended:

  • Stereo microscope stage micrometer is a dual ruler with 1" equally spaced and numbered 0-10 as well as 25mm equally spaced and numbered 0-25. If NIST certification is selected 10 points in total will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.
  • Compound biological microscope stage micrometer is a dual ruler with 1mm / 100 divisions and 10mm / 100 divisions. If NIST certification is selected 10 points will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.
